Hiatus?

Dearest Cuteness Readers,

We have clearly not been posting recently. It's the malady of the small time Blogger. We get too little cyber-love to keep the heat on. It's not that we aren't shooting anymore. We have a fair backlog of cuteness on the streets. It's more our lack of interest in photo editing, retouching and posting when we don't get much satisfaction from sharing it in the linear blog format. We are around, chasing thee cuteness and will continue to post but with less emphasis on posting for the heck of it. This is an ongoing life project archiving worldwide street fashion, 15 years and counting.

We saw these Swedish girls outside of the new Ben Sherman store on Stockton Street and had to love the way they all carry a similar aesthetic. Some may say black isn't an aesthetic, it's a color. We say it's a rocker thing. These girls love Rock and Roll and wear it on their sleeves - literally.

All we'd ever heard about DJ AM was his celebrity girl friends. People were moving to the music from the moment he started. The dance floor was packed. The jams weren't completely obscure and they weren't completely pop. He's a good times DJ. (not Norman J but good still)

Friday Night Party @ the de Young

The de Young hosted a series of Friday night parties around the Vivienne Westwood show. This one showcased local designers. We saw Dema on the on the dancefloor in a pair of super sparkley golden oxfords. Good times.
