Spring Uniform - Tokyo

This is great spring uniform. For one thing it keeps cherished boots out of their sleeper bags a bit longer. The shirt has fantastic detailing. The flipped up collar has a ruffled edge and all that great embroidery. What I really love is that it is all black so that the detail becomes part of the texture. Rocking the ethnic necklace on the outside feels really fresh. She layered on brass bracelets. (Brass is something to be on the look out for. Very chic again, but if you wear it be sure to keep it polished or it will rub all sorts of tarnish off onto your skin.) The nail art throws the balance off and makes a good case for either bold graphic nail art or none at all.

I can imagine this outfit in multiple varieties by swapping shorts and button downs, adding layers like a cardigan or snug blazer and a hand bag. The most important thing is to add your own flavor. This young lady's look is very earthy while also playing up her urban lifestyle. Good show!

Delicious!

We caught up with this cute little ice cream-sandwich-wearing girl on the streets of Tokyo. Her chic was accentuated by her baubles which were all in the forms of sweet treats, all the way to her finger nails. In the upcoming posts we will be featuring other food based fashions.
